He was predeceased by: his parents, Merton Allen and Mary Allen (Lewis); his wife Carol Allen (Bennett); and his granddaughter Katelyn Allen. He is survived by: his children, John M. Allen Jr. (Marie) of Middleboro, Kathleen Fabrizio (Norman McGilvray Jr.) of Marshfield, Steven Allen of Texas, David Allen of Marshfield, Linda Bamford of Marshfield and Brian Allen (Kathleen) of Falmouth; his grandchildren, John III, Chris, Brendon, Evelyn Allen, Lauren Santos, Michael Fabrizio, Heather Allen, Alicia Howland, Candace Allen, Jordan, Jonathan, Joshua Bamford, Eryn and Brian Allen Jr.; and his sisters, Louise Allen of Vermont, Margret Schlup of Vermont and Barbara Ritson of Vermont. He is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
