She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Dowdall and Mildred "Wood" Dowdall; her son John C. Zella Jr. Janet; her grandchildren, Robert D. Zella Jr. Ryan, Michael Zella (Karli), Brandi Zella, Ian and Alicia Lancaster; her great grandchildren, Aiden, Aubrey, Mathew and Evelyn; and her siblings, Barbara Williamson (George) of Plymouth, Elinor Williamson (Thomas) of Braintree and Robert Dowdall (Kathy) of Plymouth.
She is survived by: her husband John C. Zella Sr. of Marshfield; her daughters, Deborah Zella Shore (Paul) of Aiken, SC and Gail Zella Lancaster (Neil) of Weymouth; and her daughter-in-law Cathy Flashman (Robert D. Zella Sr.).
