He was loved and cherished by many people including: his children, Kira Washburn (Brad) of Norwell and James "Jamie" McCarthy of Marshfield; his siblings, Karen Stiffler (David) of Concord, Bernadette McCarthy of Yarmouth, Daniel McCarthy (Martha) of Marshfield and Susan McCarthy of South Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Harrison and Cortland Washburn; and his parents, James McCarthy (Jim) and Margaret McCarthy.
