He was predeceased by: his parents, Professor Brendan and Elizabeth Coakley (Betty); and his brother Conor. He is survived by: his siblings, Marianne, Gary, Daragh and Raymond; his siblings-in-law, Helen, Susan, Judy and Ted; and his pets, Bella and Molly. He is also survived by his aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.
