He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John K. Nieh and Else Hildegard (Muhle); his sister Margaret; his friends, Gene DiBenedetto and Dick Gurner; his brother-in-law Irving Douglas (Berenice); his granddaughter Nicola; his wife Loretta (Douglas); and his daughters, Janica Nieh Midiri (Patrick), Nicola and Monique Cloutier (Antoine). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
