He is survived by: his wife Diane Macdonald (Darcy); his children, David Macdonald (Kerri), Luke Macdonald and Mary Ellen Guittarr (Charles); his siblings, James Macdonald and Claire Klier (Robert); his grandchildren, Lindsay, Kara (Joseph), Jacqueline (Dylan), Craig, Casey, Colin, Clay and Hope; and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Christopher and Chloe. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins, and many close friends.

His kindness, gentle demeanor and of course his humor were second to none. As I’m writing this I can visualize sitting at the kitchen table during a meal while trying not to choke on my food after hearing one of his jokes. A truly great man!
