She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernesto Costa and Maria Jose Costa (Pacheco); her husband Jose C. Leonardo; her grandson Jason Leonardo; and her sister Conceicao Costa.
She is survived by: her children, Duarte C. Leonardo (Mariana) of New Bedford, Maria L. Domingues (Duarte) of Marlborough and Ligia C. Leonardo of Hudson; her grandchildren, Daniel, Melanie, Michael, Kevin, Adam, Christina and David; her great grandchildren, Cameron, Jayla, Kyra, Lucas, Nicholas and Isabella; and her siblings, Lucilia Costa (Antonio) of New Bedford, Jose Costa (Clementina) of New Bedford, Sarafina Costa of Canada, Maria De Deus of Canada, Frank Costa of Canada and Maria Jose Borges.
