With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William I. Mayo of Marlborough, Massachusetts, who passed away on January 23, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Mayo and Elisabeth Mayo (Neal); his sister Susan Smith; his parents-in-law, Elizabeth Higgins Carter and James Higgins; and his stepfather-in-law Robert Carter.

He is survived by: his wife Robin Mayo (Higgins); his siblings, Lew Mayo (Laura) and Betty Lou Liberatore; his siblings-in-law, James Higgins (Shari), John Higgins (Brandi Mancuso), Suzanne Ryan and Frances Rodgers (Tyler); and his nieces and nephews, William, Andy, John (Amanda), Jen Calaraco (Mike), Jeremy Sears (Janet), Brian Smith (Nicole), Scott Liberatore, Ashley Whitman, Teisha Colacchio (Kyle), Kathleen Desjardin (Mike), Danielle Higgins (Joe Coelho), James Higgins (Deirdre Dorion), Nicholas Ryan (Nikki Casagrande), Michael Ryan (Grace MacNeill) and Brandon Adams. He is also survived by 19 great nieces and nephews, as well as many other extended family.
