She was predeceased by: her parents, John P. Vaughan and Anna Vaughan (Grant); her son Derek Vaughan Alving; and her husband Ronald H. Alving. She is survived by: her son Scott Alving (Carlos Peneda) of Stow; her stepson David Nawrocki of Cape Cod; her grandchildren, Derek J. Alving-Peneda and Phoenix J. Alving-Peneda; her cousin Timothy Grant of Puerto Rico; her sister-in-law Ruth Alving of Stow; and her nephews, Jonathan, Peter and Todd Alving.
