He was predeceased by: his mother Irodina Chaves (Figueiredo). He is survived by: his father Americo Chaves; his wife Jill McCloud of Marlborough; his stepdaughters, Biana A. Manifold of Worcester and Ravyn M. Hassan (Trey T. Hassan) of Raleigh, NC; his granddaughter Zaniyah R. Zoidis; his siblings, Jose H. Chaves (Juvenalia Chaves) of Hudson and Maria Isabel Carroll (Dwayne Carroll) of Palm Bay, Florida; his godsons, JJ Chaves and Anthony Carroll; his nieces, Caitlin Carroll and Dina Chaves; his great-nephew Mason Muller; and his stepmother Beatriz Chaves. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
