She is survived by: her parents, Mariano Perez and Flor Maria Fuentes; her sons, Sergio Mercado (Atiya Thomas) and Mariano Mercado; her grandchildren, Jaedein and Daniel; and her siblings, Norma, Nancy Diaz and Amiel Perez. She is also survived by many aunts uncles and cousins.
