He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burt and Bessie Burt (Burnette); and his wife Charlotte Burt (Kulevich). He is survived by: his son William "Bill" Burt of Marlborough; his sisters, Kathryn Caffee and Robbie Nixon (Steven); his sisters-in-law, Anne Wynne (Matthew) and Paula Kulevich; and his son Boy Scouting. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
