He is survived by: his children, Richard A. Hakala of California, Sheila J. Layton of Marlborough, MA, John F. Hakala (Wendy) of Leominster, Vanessa L. Imbriani of Leominster, MA and Donna K. Hakala of Marlborough, MA. He is also survived by his twenty-one grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
