It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Leonard Sr. of Marlborough, Massachusetts, born in Troy, New York, who passed away on May 19, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Leonard and Julia Leonard (Slattery); his former wife Mary Margaret Leonard (Hinchey); and his siblings, John Leonard, Mary Esmay and Patricia Harley.
He is survived by: his wife Janis Leonard (Manny); his children, Edward P. Leonard, Jr. (Ellen) of Marlborough, Paul Leonard, Petty Officer, Class, Michael Leonard and Army Chief Warrant Officer; his grandchildren, Edward Leonard III, Mary Margaret Leonard and Elizabeth Leonard; and his great grandchildren, James, Andrew and Charlotte.
Edward P. Leonard, Sr., 87 of Marlborough and formerly of Guilderland, NY and Atlanta, GA died on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 surrounded by his loving family after an 11 year battle with Alzheimer's disease.
