She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Arthur Skura; her children, Sam Skura (Mindy Skura), Stacey Skura Zedeck (Jason Zedeck) and Rachel Burris (Brad Burris); her grandchildren, Adam, Stephanie, Joey, Molly, Ella, Lilly, Sienna and Scarlett; her siblings, Sara Kane and Harry H. Wise; and her sister-in-law Brenda Skura.

Cheryl enjoyed spending her mornings watching native birds through her kitchen window; in lieu of flowers, donations in her honor can be made to the National Audubon Society.
