With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara L McElman of Marlborough, Massachusetts, born in Medford, Massachusetts, who passed away on October 30, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur G. Greaves and Pauline H. Greaves (Durham); her son Stephen McElman; her sister Ruth Eaton (Edward); and her brother-in-law Maurice Casperson.
She is survived by: her husband Donald C. McElman; her sons, Douglas G. McElman (Nancy) of Marlborough and Dave C. McElman of Framingham; her grandchildren, Justin (Emily) and Kaylee; her great grandchildren, Bella, Paisley, Jack, Kennedy and Ace; and her sister Claire Casperson of Danvers.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Short & Rowe Funeral Home (95 W Main St, Marlborough, MA 01752). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Church (37 High St, Marlborough, MA 01752).
