He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter J. Hickey and Maud B. Hickey (Fielding); his wife Marion L. Hickey (Groves); his daughter Laureen Wilder; his siblings, Gloria Brennan, John Hickey and Leonard Hickey; and his sister-in-law Barbara Emmett (William).
He is survived by: his children, Lynn Bemis of Bolton, MA, Clift Hickey of Sedona, AZ and Pete Hickey of Athol; his sister Barbara Phelps of Athol; his grandchildren, Tessa Simonds, Troy Simonds, Bret Bemis, Ambray Ernst, Tina Guiffre-Hickey, Drake Hickey and Sherrie Sexton; and his great grandchildren, Piper, Diesel, Aaron, Corrine, Chandler, Noah, Madison, Kaitlin and Evan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
