She was predeceased by: her husband Nelson M. Adams, Jr.; her parents, Thornton Gibbs and Violet Gibbs (Bennett); her son Nelson Adams, III; and her siblings, Beatrice Briggs, Thornton Gibbs, Preston Gibbs, Clifton Gibbs, Franklin Gibbs, Alvin Gibbs and Milton Gibbs.
She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Daniels of Marion and Ellen Borges (Allan) of Marion; her daughter-in-law Donna Adams of Marion; her sister-in-law Catherine Gibbs of Marion; and her grandchildren, Timothy Adams (Alissa) of Sandwich, Melissa Melanson (Timothy) of Marion, Brad Borges of Marion, Laura Daniels of Marion and John Daniels of Fairhaven. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
