He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry DaSilva and Laura DaSilva (Barros); and his siblings, Lillian Corbett, Dorothy Coleman, Henry DaSilva, Jr., Edward Silva, Elizabeth Mendes and Richard DaSilva.

He is survived by: his sister Shirley Downing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
