She was predeceased by: her parent Manuel Fernandes; her daughter Roberta Baptiste; and her siblings, Clara Gonsalves, Manuel Fernandes and Jessie Lopes.

She is survived by: her parent Josephine Gonsalves (Andrews); and her children, Patricia Fernandes of Wareham and Jean Barboza of Marietta, GA. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 9 great great grandchildren.
