Beatrice D. Pires Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice D. Pires of Marion, Massachusetts, who passed away on May 3, 2022, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lucien F. Pires, Sr.; her parents, Mary Pina (Correia) and Vincent Pina; her sons, Lucien F. Pires, Jr. and Melvin Pina; and her siblings, Julio Nunes, Lawrence Pina, Anne Nunes Fernandes, Joan Gabourel and Dominga Sequeira.
She is survived by: her children, Glenda "Penny" Alves (Domingo "Bobby" Alves) of Marion, Mary Lou Rose of New Bedford, Donald Pires of New Bedford, Lynne Silva (Joey Roderick) of Marion and Wendy Lee Barnes of Wolcott, CT.. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
