She was predeceased by: her former husband Joseph F. Ryan; her parents, William Welch and Anne Welch; and her siblings, William, Robert, Richard Welch and Patricia Davern.
She is survived by: her husband Joe; her children, William Ryan (Tini) of Jakarta, Patty Ryan Sheehan (Dana Sheehan) of Nahant, Joseph Ryan (Melissa) of Marblehead and Mark Ryan (Shea) of Marblehead; and her grandchildren, George, Joseph, Maria, Hannah, Nancy, Patty, Liam, Amina, Aidan, Caitlyn, Emma, Megan Ryan and Julianne Sheehan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Murphy Funeral Home (85 Federal St, Salem, MA 01970). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady Star of the Sea Church (85 Atlantic Ave, Marblehead, MA 01945).
Instead of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to My Brother's Table, Lynn, Massachusetts, and Habitat for Humanity of Collier County, Florida.
