It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Fafel of Marblehead, Massachusetts, who passed away on February 3, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leonard Fafel to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Fafel and Samuel Fafel; and his wife Eleanor Fafel. He is survived by: his children, Jodie Sorkenn (Jonathan) of River Edge, NJ and Steven Fafel (Alyssa) of Swampscott, MA.; his grandchildren, David (Alexis), Alison, Rachel Sorkenn, Sasha and Dylan Fafel; his siblings, Bernard Fafel and Arlene Schwartz; his close friend Judith Fox; and also, David Locke (Judi) and Barbara DuBois (Dennis). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel (10 Vinnin St, Salem, MA 01970).
