“Ken was a longtime coach for Marblehead High School's teams that competed in the annual Blue Lobster Bowl regional competitions of the National Ocean Sciences Bowl. In ~2015, Ken switched over to officiating for matches for the Blue Lobster Bowl, as both a moderator and a science judge, through which he shared his considerable knowledge and expertise with the next generation of ocean sciences advocates for seven years. Ken's absence will be palpable at the 3/1/2025 Blue Lobster Bowl at MIT.”
