He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton "Ike" Varrell and Mabel Varrell (Sverker); and his brother David Varrell. He is survived by: his wife Sheila (Donahue); his children, Kristen Varrell Haas (Jason) of New London, NH and Melissa Varrell Bouchard (Gary) of Marblehead; his grandchildren, Trevor, Sarah Haas of New London, Cole, Ellie and Cody Bouchard of Marblehead; his brother Richard Varrell (Pearl) of Marblehead; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Annese (Edward) of Hampton Falls, NH and Charlene Donahue of Beverly.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Eustis & Cornell of Marblehead (142 Elm St, Marblehead, MA 01945). A masonic service was held on Wednesday, September 4th 2024 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Eustis & Cornell Funeral Home (142 Elm St, Marblehead, MA 01945).
