Murphree; her children, Christopher M. Hewes (Margaret) of Worcester, Nathan E. Hewes (Limary) of East Bridgewater, Laura E. Page (Lance) of Enfield and John T. Murphree (Jeanna) of Medford; her grandchildren, Colin, Brennan, Maximus, Alton and Haskell; and her siblings, Jon R. Foster of Attleboro, Cynthia J. Foster of Attleboro, Elizabeth M. Dykens of California, William F. Foster of Springfield, Andrew M. Foster of Norton and Jeannette M. Foster of Millis.

During the height of Covid, she willingly helped others by making facial masks for their personal protection.
