Though Norma W. may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Norma W. touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William H. Hills and Dizal M. Hills (Soames); and her daughter Cecelia A. Lostroh. She is survived by: her children, Malcolm R. Smith (Roberta) of Mansfield, Peter J. Smith (Marie) of Erie, Michael A. Smith (Patricia) of Dewey, Patrick V. Smith of Austin, Paul W. Smith of Springfield and Pamela J. Grunzel (David) of Erie; and her siblings, John Hills (Carys) of England and Marjorie Mulvie of England. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, as well as her loving nieces and nephews.
In accordance with her love for the Mansfield Council on Aging, Norma would be happiest knowing that donations in her memory are being made to "Friends of the Council on Aging", 255 Hope Street, Mansfield, MA 02048.
