He is survived by: his wife Julie A. McCarthy (Desmarais); his parents, Robert J. McCarthy and Ann T. McCarthy (Tracy) of Shrewsbury; his children, Katie Jones (Steffen) of Rockport, Erin McCarthy of Brookline and Brian McCarthy (Olivia) of Los Angeles, CA.; his siblings, Linda Turano (Mark) of Hopkinton, Karen Dunn (Bill) of Darien, CT and Laurie Dodd (Joe) of Upton; his parents-in-law, Del and Marilyn Desmarais of Glen, NH; his siblings-in-law, Lisa Lane (Rich) of Sterling and Michael Desmarais (John Rice) of Los Angeles, CA; and his pet George. He is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews.
