Manuel Afonso Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Manuel Afonso (Mansfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 28, 2018, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Joao Afonso; and his daughter Christina Afonso. He is survived by: his wife Luisa Afonso (Alves); his parent Maria Joaquina Pereira; his children, Susana Brum (Afonso), Maria Rosa Afonso of Mansfield and Joao Paulo Afonso (Erica Caron-Afonso) of New Bedford; his grandchildren, Steven Brum Jr., Samuel Brum, Marlie Afonso, Avery Afonso and Jacob Afonso; his siblings, Balbina Pereira (Joao Pereira) of Brandim, Montalegre, Portugal and Joao Alves Afonso (Maria Magro Afonso) of New Bedford; and also Montalegre. He is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews.
