With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Loretta (A. Bell) Ethier of Mansfield, Massachusetts, born in Lincoln, Rhode Island, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta left this world on October 22, 2024 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul A. Ethier; her parents, Joseph, Sr. Bell and Yvonne Bell (Lemieux); and her siblings, Edward Bell, Raymond Bell, Claire Iadevaia, Robert Bell, Theresa Leblond and Yvette Stevens.
She is survived by: her children, Diane C. Mota (Mannie) of Taunton, Elaine J. Montgomery (John) of Lakeville, Paul A Ethier, Jr. (Grace) of North Attleboro, Richard E. Ethier (Beth) of South Carolina, Michelle A. White (Richard) of North Attleboro, Mederic J. Ethier (Jeannie) of Mansfield, Dolores J. Ouimet (Christopher) of East Freetown, Linda C. Silva (John) of North Attleboro, Susan M. Roy of Plainville and Marianne O'Brien (Michael Tallman) of Mansfield; and her siblings, Joseph Bell, Jr. (Ann) of Woburn, Jeanne Lunderville of South Carolina, Aline Kenyon of Georgia and Cecile Felicio of Rhode Island. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 2 great-great granddaughters, as well as many much-loved nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Mary's Church (330 Pratt St, Mansfield, MA 02048).
