With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Arthur Walgreen of Mansfield, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. John left this world on February 8, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John R. Walgreen and Louise Walgreen (Maynard); and his brothers, James Walgreen and Joseph Walgreen. He is survived by: his siblings, Jeffrey Walgreen and Janet Stiller; his wife Sonia Mejia Walgreen; his children, Albert, Philip Walgreen and Alice Marks; and his grandchildren, Jack, Annalise Walgreen, Meredith Young, Benjamin and Jackson Marks. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Guardian Angel Scholarship Fund at St. Mary's Catholic School, 330 Pratt St, Mansfield, MA 02048.
