He was predeceased by: his wife Helen P. Hawksley (Allen); his parents, Joseph W. Hawksley and Carrie E. Hawksley (Linscott); his child Cary Hawksley; and his sister Madeleine.
He is survived by: his children, John Hawksley of Texas, Gary Hawksley (Kat Crowley) of Hyannis, Leon Hawksley (Susan Fleming) of Martha's Vineyard, Heather Valequett (late James Valequett) of Maine, Alan Hawksley (Tobi) of Maine, Heidi Eckhart (Kent) of Mansfield, Amy Howe (Douglas) of New Hampshire, Dean Hawksley (Patty) of West Bridgewater and Paul Hawksley; and his siblings, Edward Hawksley of Florida and Marilee Gould of Norfolk. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, as well as his loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home (55 N Main St, Mansfield, MA 02048). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Good Shepherd Reformed Episcopal Church (6 Meadowhill Ct, South Easton, MA 02375).
