He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Rys and Jennie Rys (Zukowski); his sons, Jeffrey P. Rys (Linda) and Kevin M. Begley; and his sister Helen Snelling (late Sam Snelling).
He is survived by: his wife Joanne G. Rys (Prosser); his children, Andrew P. Rys (Justina) of Taunton, Christopher E. Begley (Jen Jordan-Begley) of Lunenburg and Kathleen L. Fisher (Sean) of North Attleboro; his grandchildren, Carmen, Frederick Simon, Hannah, Emily, Cameron, Natalee and Tommy; and his brother Kenneth Rys (Paula) of Bow, NH. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
