He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Jacquelyn Roche (Young); his children, David Roche (Cynthia) and Deborah Daher of Manomet; his siblings, Mildred Hanley of Stoneham and Kenneth Roche; and his parents, Martin James and Thelma May Roche, Sr. (Marston). He was also cherished by four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
