He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. Benton and Ellen I. Benton (Irwin); and his brother Dennis Benton. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Benton (Giblin); his siblings, David Benton (Eileen) of Pembroke, NH, Dean Benton (Jeanne) of East Weymouth, Darron Benton (Jen) of Whitman, Daniel Benton (Elise) of Plainville, Drew Benton (Jen), Elizabeth Kelly (Stephen) of Randolph, Amy Dotolo (Bob) of South Carolina and Kate Thibodeau (Scott) of Florida; and his sister-in-law Kathy Benton of Carver. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
