He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Greenleaf and Emily Greenleaf Sr. (Savage). He is survived by: his wife Annie Willmonton Greenleaf; his brothers, Robert Greenleaf and Donald Greenleaf (Dottie); his daughters, Donna Venning (Steve), Lisa Greenleaf (Bob Pope) and Jennifer Southard (Craig); his grandchildren, Glenn Loucks, Meghan, Christopher Gollihue, Jessica D'Avolio (Jason), Lindsay Rose and Chelsea Ascolillo-Rose (Steven); and his great grandchildren, Jordan and Juliana D'Avolio.
