He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Nathaniel C. Andrews and Mildred L. Andrews (MacDonald); his wife Ann Andrews (Lydon); his children, John H. Shea, III, Kate E. McCusker and Leonard James "L. J." Andrews; his grandchildren, Harrison, Noah and Quinn; and his brother Nathaniel Charles Andrews, Jr.. He was also cherished by his nieces and nephews.
