She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry P. Contompasis and Eugenia Contompasis (Lalooses); her husband Michael G. Nahatis; her son Alexander M. Nahatis; and her sister Jeanette Baskous.

She is survived by: her brothers, Dr. Peter H. Contompasis (Betty) and Michael G. Contompasis (Joan); her sons, Dean M. Nahatis and Harry M. Nahatis; her daughter-in-law Lisa Nahatis (Kelley); and her grandchildren, Zoe H. Nahatis, Angela R. Nahatis and Katharine E. Nahatis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
