He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Doran and Daisy Doran; his wife Michele; his son Zachary Doran of Ayer, MA; his stepchildren, AC and Samantha Vivian of Boston, MA; his siblings, Randy (Irina Doran), Dave (Erin Doran), Doug (Jackie Doran), Keli Doran of Michigan, Jill and Patrick Sherwood of California; and his friend Wingteam. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

“As an additional message, Greg's death is our loss but heaven's gain.”

“Michele, so sorry for your loss. Greg was a great guy, friend and I am sure he was a great husband. I have an old photo of Greg, Tom Elsesser and me when we were stationed at Hanscom AFB. We rented a house in Acton, MA and held many a party there. Greg being the charmer that he was, became responsible for making sure that we had plenty of women at the party. Needless to say, he never failed.”
