She was predeceased by: her husband David S. Shankman; and her parents, Malvina Gordon and Sidney Gordon. She is survived by: her children, Ed Shankman (Miriam), Nancy Maniskas (Kevin) and Carol Mendoza (Ernesto); her sister Ann Pokoyk (Jacques); and her grandsons, Nicholas Maniskas, Gordon Maniskas, Julian Mendoza and Ezra Mendoza.
