It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sadako Sato Holmes of Malden, Massachusetts, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 16, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace and Takayuki. She is survived by: her sister Takako; her husband Melvin Felix Holmes of Everett, MA; her children, Melvin Peter Holmes, Bradley Paul Holmes and Cherie Ann Holmes; her daughters-in-law, Sally Holmes, Loretta Polk and Yvonne Goldsberry; and her grandson Brandon Holmes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, step grandchildren.
