He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo W. Sullivan and Dorothy Sullivan (McHarg); his grandparents, Timothy "Fish", Mary Sullivan (Farren) and Ethel Oliver; his siblings, Timothy Sullivan and Maureen Sullivan; and his stepbrothers, William and James McKinley.
He is survived by: his siblings, Daniel Sullivan, Judith Rogers and Dorothy Day (Donald); and his sister-in-law Joan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
