He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Sr Bower and Mildred M. Bower (Clark); and his wife Patricia A. Bower (Cunningham). He is survived by: his children, Raymond P. Bower of Dorchester, Michele M. Algreen of Boulder, CO and Marie E. Bower of Burbank, CA; his son-in-law Paul Algreen; and his grandson Casey. He is also survived by several in-laws, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Rays name may be made to the Malden DAV, 85 Willow Street, Malden, MA 02148.
