He was predeceased by: his father Louis Desmond. He is survived by: his children, Courtney Desmond of Malden, Daniel Desmond and Mark Desmond Jr of North Reading; his siblings, Mary Ellen Campbell (Dick) of Reading and Laurie Boucher (Allan) of Reading; and his significant other Cheryl Dickie of North Reading. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
