He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Nicholson and Marjorie Nicholson; and his brother James Nicholson. He is survived by: his daughter Nadine Nicholson of Methuen; his siblings, John Nicholson (Donna Nicholson) of Everett and Carol Bateson of Tewksbury; his granddaughter Ariana Castiello; his cousins, Elaine and Marjorie; and his nieces and nephews, Katie, Christopher, Kimberly, Shannon, Kristen, Karl and Tracey.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weir - MacCuish Funeral Home (144 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
