She is survived by: her husband Robert; her son Jeffrey Alter of Fort Pierce Florida; her daughter-in-law JoAnn Hiers Alter; her son Hal Alter; her daughter-in-law Ruth Alter; her grandson Michael Alter (Wesley); her great grandchildren, Hudson Michael, Grant Benjamin, Finn Hamilton and Miller Wesley of Napa, CA; her grandson Dave (Allison); her great grandchildren, Jada Reese, Addison Kate, Jack David of Austin, TX and Reese Corbin Alter; her daughter Peggy Alter of Portland, OR.; her grandson Peter Boches of Hilo, HI; her great grandchildren, Althea and Mithril; her daughter Maxine; her son-in-law Ed Alstrom of Pine Brook; her granddaughter Sophie Walsh (Zach); her great grandchild Whit of Bernardsville; and her granddaughter Nina of Montclair.
