He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Claire O'Brien (Enos) and John Francis O'Brien; his siblings, Janet Kane and John O'Brien (Jack); and his great-grandparents, Catherine and William O'Brien.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marilyn Knowlton of Wakefield, MA, Brenda O'Brien of Malden, MA and Kathleen O'Brien of Freeport, ME; and his close friend Elaine Gadon of Winthrop, MA. He is also survived by two nieces a nephew and two grandchildren.
