He was predeceased by: his parents, Christine M. Tobin (Browne) and James J. Tobin Jr.; and his daughter Aimee Tobin. He is survived by: his daughter Colleen M. Bates (Nicholas) of Wilmington; his grandchildren, AivaTobin, Jordan and Bryson Bates; his siblings, Christine M. Tobin of Sagamore, Michael J. Tobin (Maria) of Buzzards Bay and Brian J. Tobin (Denise) of Medford; and also Debra L. Tobin (Angelo) of Waltham.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dello Russo Funeral Home (306 Main St, Medford, MA 02155). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 10:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church (770 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148).
