She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Francoinise Cadet (Francois) and Joachin Cadet; her sons-in-law, Wilhermine Denis-Destouches (Pierre Destouches) and Nadege Abraham; her husband Herold Jean-Louis; her grandchildren, Loadz Jean-Louis and Jonathan Destouches; her son Wilkins Abraham; and her siblings, Giselle Cadet, Marcel Cadet, Rose Marie Seche, Murat Cadet, Jacqueline Cadet, Jean-Robert Cadet, Francoise Cadet and Solange Cadet. She was also cherished by her sister in laws, brother in laws, many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In 2013 Maki started to develop signs of forgetfulness, but was diagnosed in 2015 with mild to medium Alzheimer's, and the illness quickly progress to a point where she could no longer be on her own and 6 weeks ago, she became suddenly very ill by not eating and drinking until her passing at MGH.
