We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 92, Howard C Topping of Malden, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Howard's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Howard has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Topping and Lucy Topping (Whitehouse); his son William Shackelton; his wife Carolyn Topping; and his sister June Reinstein.
He is survived by: his daughter Susan Bickford (Tom); his grandchildren, Amanda Shackelton, William Shackelton and Ann Dixon; and his great grandchildren, Hayden Maloney, McKenzie Dixon and Allison Dixon. He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the MacCuish Golden Rule Funeral Home (144 Salem St, Malden, MA 02148). A burial was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Holy Cross Cemetery (175 Broadway, Malden, MA 02148).
